<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of simply printing out a desired frame of a moving picture by directly connecting the digital camera and printer. <P>SOLUTION: The digital camera designates a frame to print in the moving picture data stored in a removable memory 12 and stores the position information of the designated frame to print. The digital camera reads the moving picture data from the removable memory 12 on the basis of the position information of the stored frame and forms still picture data from the moving picture data of the frame particularized by the frame position information in the moving picture data. The digital camera transmits the formed still picture data to the printer via an interface. Since the digital camera generates a still picture of an image of the print frame from the moving picture and transmits the still picture to the printer, the printer can print out the data by a similar processing to print processing of the still picture and can print the image without notifying a moving picture format. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
