PURPOSE: A method and device for controlling hot water for a household boiler is provided to reduce the consumption of energy by supplying hot water by a selective operation regardless of the position of a cold/hot water lever. CONSTITUTION: In a device for controlling hot water for a household boiler, a circulation line(18) connects the inlet of a cold/hot water lever(10) to the outlet of a water flow detecting unit(14), and has a circulation pump(16) and a check valve(17). A controller(15) receives a signal from the water flow detecting unit, and controls the circulation pump.
