<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color printing system in which a load of a printing job is decentralized among a plurality of printers in a network to thereby efficiently provide color print output, and a method of utilizing its resource. <P>SOLUTION: The color printing system is provided with a means for detecting the operating states and operation specifications of other printers and a printing system control means for sharing a process for plotting-developing an image to printers waiting for printing in accordance with obtained information.
