PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior wall corner coating member capable of obtaining a stabilized construction state by absorbing the unevenness of a construction surface and preventing the corrosion of a skeleton for a long period of time so that water entered inside a coating member can be surely drained outside when the coating member is used for an overhang section of a building. SOLUTION: The exterior wall corner coating member 30 is formed of a vertical piece 31 and a horizontal piece 32 in an approximately L-shaped section in the overhang section of the building. The exterior wall corner coating member 30 is so applied that the vertical piece is adjacent to an external facing 42 and that the horizontal piece covers an eave soffit material 44 to form an exterior wall corner. Both outside surfaces of the vertical piece and the horizontal piece of the coating member are at right angles with each other, the horizontal piece has a tapered inside surface 32a getting thin as it progresses toward the front end, it is so applied that it comes into contact with the lower surface of the eave soffit material through a plurality of packings 33 provided at regular intervals on the front end side, and a drainage way (49) is formed between both packings.
