PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chute for a belt conveyor capable of elongating the service life of a belt by unifying the abrasion of the conveying belt. SOLUTION: In this chute 1 for the belt conveyor to guide conveyed articles 6 dropped toward the conveying belt 21 to load the conveyed articles 6 on the conveying belt 21 of the belt conveyor 2, an obstacle member 40 extended in the direction approximately agreed with the longitudinal direction of the conveying belt 21 is mounted on a central part in the lateral direction of the conveying belt 21 inside of the chute 1, and some conveyed articles 6 collide with the obstacle member 40 during dropping.
