PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook and loop fastener and a product attached with the same fastener, having a structure for reducing a sound generated upon separation of the fastener member itself and capable of reducing a sound generated upon separation of the product attached with the same fastener. SOLUTION: A sheet material (20) is attached to a rear surface of a flat base material (11) of a hook and loop fastener member (10) comprising an engaging-element-formation region (B) having multiple engaging elements (12) on a front surface of the flat base material (11) and an engaging-element-non-formation region (A) having no engaging elements or comprising a sewing region (C) and a non-sewing region (D). The sheet material (20) is provided with a sound transmission restricting means for setting apparent density to 0.5g/cm<SP>3</SP>or less in a region corresponding to the engaging-element-formation region (B) or the non-sewing region (D), or for forming a through-hole (21), for example, in the same region.
