PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack having a temperature sensor simply and easily wired and thermally jointed to a battery in preferable condition, which can be produced in commercial quantity at low cost. SOLUTION: The battery pack comprises a rechargeable battery 1, a temperature sensor 3 installed in the vicinity of the battery 1 and detects the temperature of the battery, and a circuit board 2 on which the temperature sensor 3 is fixed and the protection circuit of the battery 1 connected to the temperature sensor 3 is mounted. The circuit board 2 is provided with a projected part 7 projecting toward the surface of the battery 1 at the opposing edge to the battery 1, or a pair of cut-out parts 8 are provided on the side edge opposed to the surface of the battery 1 with an interval in which the temperature sensor 3 can be fixed, and a heat conduction cut-off part 9 is provided between them, and the temperature sensor 3 is fixed on this projected part 7 or the heat conduction cut-off part 9.
