PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated design system for an electric power steering device for a development simulation for the electric power steering in which a control system analysis tool, an analysis tool for an electromagnetic field of a motor and a vehicle mechanism analysis tool are integrally connected through an interface. SOLUTION: This design system for an electric power steering device for applying a steering assisting force to a steering mechanism in reference to a current control value calculated on the basis of a steering assisting instruction value calculated by a calculating means in reference to a steering torque and a vehicle speed, and a motor current value detected by the motor current sensing means. A simulation controller connects the control system analysis tool, the analysis tool for an electromagnetic field of the motor and a vehicle mechanism analysis tool through an interface to enable a total simulation for the electric power steering device to be carried out.
