<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the shading influence prediction program and output characteristic prediction program of a new solar cell capable of automatically predicting the influence of shading received from a peripheral obstacle by the solar cell and the output characteristics of the solar cell receiving the shading influence. <P>SOLUTION: A computer is made to function as a data inputting means (1) for inputting a place and date where and when the influence of shading should be predicted and the position and size of a solar cell and a peripheral obstacle, a model preparing means (2) for preparing a solar battery model and a peripheral obstacle model based on the position and size of the solar cell and the peripheral obstacle, a solar position calculating means (3) for calculating a solar position corresponding to the place and date where and when the influence of shading should be predicted, a virtual straight line calculating means (4) for calculating a virtual straight line connecting each of a plurality of reference dots set at predetermined intervals on a solar battery model and the solar position by using space coordinates expressing the standard dot positions and a triangle function expressing a triangle position and a shading image preparing means (5) for detecting a virtual straight line to be in contact with a peripheral obstacle model from among all virtual straight lines and for preparing a shading image extended from the peripheral obstacle model with the reference dots of the virtual straight line to be in contact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
