PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printed matter having an image line part in metal gloss, paying attention to environmental problems associated with resource savings and the reduction of waste, in addition to the lowering of a material and production costs. SOLUTION: The image line part 60, in which an aluminum paste ink layer 61, a transparent ink layer 62 and a transparent gloss varnish layer 63 containing mainly a polyamide resin are successively applied, is provided on one surface of a paper base material 30. The printed matter 1 has the image line part in metal gloss constituted by being pressurized from both surfaces of the paper base material with a smooth surface projecting mold.
