PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vaporizer for a petroleum combustion type hot air heater for preventing the occurrence of combustion failure when a nozzle hole is clogged with an impurity such as tar sticking to the nozzle hole of a vaporizer. SOLUTION: This vaporizer for a petroleum combustion type hot air heater is opened-closed by a cleaning bar 5 of connecting the nozzle hole 4 of a nozzle 11 to a shaft 3 of a motor 2 by connecting an oil transport pipe 13 to one end of the vaporizer 1, and arranging the nozzle 11 on the other end, and connects the cleaning bar 5 and the shaft 3 of the motor 2 so as to move in the direction for opening-closing the nozzle hole 4 while rotating the cleaning bar 5.
