PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration absorbing device mounted on a rotatable driving shaft in such a manner as to be easily changeable in characteristic and firmly mountable on the driving shaft in the axial direction, avoiding the occurrence of corrosion. SOLUTION: The vibration absorbing device is mounted on the rotatable driving shaft 2. It comprises an annularly cylindrical mass member 3 spaced from the driving shaft 2 in the radial direction, a plurality of peripherally spaced supporting members 4 formed of elastic materials, located on the driving shaft 2, firmly connected to the mass member 3 and provided extending inwardly and radially from the mass member 3, and a fixed sleeve 5 formed of an elastic material and located on the driving shaft.
