PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remake a tumbler lock causing a large number of picking cases conventionally into a structure capable of preventing the illegal opening of the lock by a picking trick to prevent damage by picking securely and increase the reliability of the tumbler lock. SOLUTION: By forming a recess 9 of about 0.1 to 0.3 mm in the end of a locking bar L, tumblers T2, T4, T6, and T8 having larger clearances when locking between the opening end 3a of an opening lock cutout part 3 formed at outer peripheral parts 2 of a plurality of tumblers T1 to T9 arranged in a rotor R and the locking bar L fitted into the opening lock cutout part 3 than a clearance of the other tumblers T1, T3, T5, T7, and T9 are provided and mixed in the plurality of tumblers T1 to T9. Consequently, the conventional picking trick for fitting the end of the locking bar L into the opening lock cutout part 3 of each tumbler T1 to T9 sequentially by giving torque to the rotor R becomes ineffective.
