PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for wood being suitable for an adhesive which is effective to prevent a puncture from occurring, and of which the hardening property and the pot life can be controlled without performing troublesome operations such as accelerating the penetration of moisture in a blended glue or moisture in a veneer, or lowering the water content of the veneer by modifying the surface of the veneer, raising a hot pressing temperature or extending a hot pressing time.
