PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage collecting tool for a drain valve, which facilitates disposal of collected garbage, and dispenses with a basket, whereby the user need not spare the time for regular bothersome washing of the basket. SOLUTION: The garbage collecting tool consists of a collecting portion body 4, and a separate deodorizer 5. The collecting portion body 4 is a plastic or waterproof-paper cup having draining holes 6 formed in a peripheral surface and a bottom surface thereof, and is disposable. The deodorizer 5 is formed like a cylinder without a lower surface, and has a spacer formed in an upper inner surface thereof.
