An arrangement for contacting and fixing a coaxial cable by crimping, consists of an electrically conducting encapsulation as a screen (11) and an electric conductor (7) enclosed by a dielectric (6). The two half shells (5a,5b) for expanding the placement zone (A,Z) in the region of the separating plane (E) with wave-shapes (9a,9b) and whose wave planes extend plan-parallel to the separation plane (E) and whose amplitudes (A) are aligned transversely through the long axis (X) of the metal sleeve (5).
