<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a process cartridge which is easily attached/detached to/from an apparatus body without accelerating a deterioration in a photoreceptor and a member coming into contact with the photoreceptor and to provide the process cartridge provided in the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Each of rotary shafts of the photoreceptor 2Y, an electrifying roller 3Y and a developing roller 51Y in the process cartridge 18Y is rotatably supported and connected and by a supporting arm 21. Also, the supporting arm is swingably provided centering around the shaft of the developing roller, and a positioning member 30 to pick up the shaft of the photoreceptor 2Y and to guide to a given position where image forming is made possible when the process cartridge is inserted is provided on the backside of a printer body. The positioning member has a guide groove 30a whose lower side is wide and upper side is narrow, and has a backside wall surface 30b which is tilted from the lower side of the guide groove to the upper side of it and from this side to a backside in an inserting direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
