摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser device on which a longer semiconductor laser device can be mounted and a light emitting point can be adjusted at fixed height independently of the length of the semiconductor laser device. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser apparatus 10 is provided with a stem 1 having one main surface, a recessed part 5 formed on the main surface and a block part 7 projected from the main surface adjacently to the recessed part 5, a sub-mount 2 arranged on the side of the block part 7 which is faced to the recessed part 5, the semiconductor laser device 3 arranged on the sub-mount 2 so that the distances of both ends from the main surface are respectively a negative sign and a positive sign when an intersection point between a vertical distance from the main surface which is vertical to the main surface and the main surface is 0, the inside of the main surface is a negative sign and the outside of the main surface is a positive sign, and terminals 4 connected to the semiconductor laser device 3.
