PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent destruction of a driving system when a large force is instantaneously added with a tray for carrying a disk medium drawn out. SOLUTION: Rotation of a worm wheel 20 driven by a worm 19 provided on a rotation shaft of a driving motor 18 is sequentially switched and transmitted to a driving system in the direction of a disk medium diameter of an optical pickup 25 constituted by a plurality of gears, a raising and lowering driving system of a chassis 17 and a carry driving system of the tray 15, a gear is coaxially assembled in the warm wheel 20 by way of a clutch mechanism 47, and at least the tray 15 is driven by way of the clutch mechanism 47. Thus, when an external force is instantaneously added to the tray 15, it is absorbed by the clutch mechanism. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
