PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus sharing system controllable so that a bus is not kept occupied for a long time with a simple control action of an arbiter and a master. SOLUTION: The bus sharing system includes a bus; a first circuit which accesses the bus; a second circuit which shares the bus with the first circuit to access the bus; a counter circuit provided in the second circuit and which performs counting action each time the second circuit accesses the bus; and an arbiter circuit which intervenes between the first and second circuits as to a request to gain bus rights. The second circuit is characterized in that, after gaining the bus rights from the arbiter circuit, it releases the bus rights when the counter circuit performs the counting action a given number of times.
