APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING ANGLE OF SPRAY NOZZLES MOUNTED ON TOP OF BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for adjusting angle of spray nozzles mounted on the top of blast furnace is provided in which cooling water is always sprayed on an upper central part of charging materials in the furnace by adjusting a spraying angle of the spray nozzles correspondingly to level change of the charging materials in the furnace. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises spray nozzles(10) rotationally mounted on the top of the blast furnace(100) so that the spray nozzles spray cooling water onto charging materials(130) in the blast furnace; a rotation means for rotating the spray nozzles; cooling water supply pipes(30) connected to the spray nozzles by means of a flexible hose to supply cooling water to the spray nozzles; and a charging material level measuring sensor(40) for sending the measured level values to the rotation means by measuring level values of the charging materials(130) in the blast furnace, wherein the apparatus further comprises nitrogen injection nozzles for preventing gas in the furnace from releasing to the outside through an opening formed on the outer side of the spray nozzles by injecting high pressure nitrogen gas onto the outer surface of the spray nozzles, and wherein the rotation means comprises rotation shafts(20) for supporting the spray nozzles so that the spray nozzles are vertically rotated, and a driving motor which rotationally drives the rotation shafts and is interlocked with the level values of the charging materials(130) in the blast furnace measured in the charging material level measuring sensor.
