A coloured institutional towel comprising ground warp, fill, and pile warped yarns, all of said yarns being coloured by intimately draw blending a predetermined amount of pre-dyed polyester fiber with cotton fiber when the yarn is spun and twisted to thereby form a predetermined colour for the institutional towel.
