PURPOSE: A receiving subscriber(or receiving terminal) location-based ring back tone storage medium set by a subscriber, a receiving subscriber(or receiving terminal) location-based ring back tone supplying system using a storage medium, and a service method thereof are provided to search a ring back tone preset by a receiving subscriber, and to supply the searched ring back tone to an originating subscriber through a call connected exchange, so that the receiving subscriber can inform an originating terminal of a receiving terminal location. CONSTITUTION: If a receiving subscriber inputs a series of receiving terminal information(200), a web server confirms whether a location-based ring back tone alternative service for a receiving terminal is available(205). If so, the receiving subscriber inputs location-based ring back tone extraction information including location setup coordinates and logical location information(210). The receiving subscriber determines or inputs ring back tone information including a kind of a ring back tone corresponding to the extraction information(215). The receiving subscriber repeats the determining and inputting process until all locations of the receiving terminal are applied(220). If the receiving subscriber determines all ring back tones(225), the web server stores the extraction information and ring back tone information(230). The web server generates location-based ring back tone alternative service information, and stores/registers/updates the alternative service information(235).
