PURPOSE: An inside handle of a vehicle door is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by forming an override member on each opposite side of a safety lock knob and an inside handle lever. CONSTITUTION: An inside handle of a vehicle door includes a base plate, a plurality of supporting sections, a safety lock knob, an inside handle lever, a supporting pin, a coil spring, and a supporting projection. The supporting sections(2,2') are formed at a top part and a bottom part of the base plate(1). The safety lock knob(3) and the inside handle lever(4) are supported by the support pin(5). The coil spring(6) is wound around a predetermined position of the inside handle lever corresponding to the support pin. Both ends of the support are connected to the supporting projection of the base plate and the inside handle lever. An override member(10) is formed on each opposite side of the safety lock knob and the inside handle lever. |
