FIELD: preparation of water from water steam of atmospheric air in arid regions. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes natural cooling of atmospheric air, bringing atmospheric air in contact with hygroscopic material and discharging water; used as hygroscopic material is micro-porous adsorbent at S-shaped adsorption isotherm of water vapor at abrupt rise of absorption within range of relative pressures P/Psat=0.2-0.8, where P is partial pressure of water vapor, Psat is pressure of saturated water vapor at given temperature. After contact of micro-porous adsorbent with atmospheric air, micro-porous adsorbent is heated and water vapor is cooled to condensing temperature. ^ EFFECT: enhanced condensation of water vapor on cooled (or on not heated) surface. ^ 4 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl |
