FIELD: mining industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: compound additionally contains bentonitic clay. Components are at following ration in percents of weight: foamer 1-2, bentonitic clay 4-10, water - the rest up to 100. In compound a property of bentonitic clay is used, which allows it at certain amount of it in water suspension to increase hardness of air-mechanical foam. With contents of bentonitic clay in compound in amount of 4-10 percents of mass, hardness of foam may increase maximum in 40 times and air penetrability of treated massive persists for long duration. Also, with foam dissolving, bentonitic clay accumulates on coal surface and forms protective film on it, which prevents oxidizing processes. ^ EFFECT: higher effectiveness of preventive maintenance against coal self-combustion. ^ 1 tbl
