FIELD: oil extracting industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: at location of welded joint polymer tape is applied having adhesive layer and providing for adhesive connection to metal of pipe. Moisture from polymer tape surface is removed by means of heating by open flame. Upon polymer tape, thermoshrinking tape is applied in spliced manner, with spliced area located on side surface of pipeline. Completed connection is crimped. Heating is performed by open flame at first from below, then from above, then on side surface from the opposite side from spliced area and finished with heating of the very spliced area. ^ EFFECT: higher reliability of welded joint isolation. ^ 1 dwg, 1 ex
