METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING DATA IN REVERSE LINK

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting data in a reverse link is provided to determine a data rate of an R-SCH(Reverse-Supplemental Channel) in consideration of a data rate of an F-PDCH(Forward-Packet Data Channel) if the F-PDCH is assigned to a forward link, thereby realizing high reliability on a communication service. CONSTITUTION: A terminal determines a request data rate of an R-SCH that can be supported at a data rate of an F-PDCH(S10). The terminal decides whether to support the determined request data rate(S11). If so, the terminal decides whether the determined request data rate is smaller or equal to a maximum data rate determined during a service negotiation process(S13). If so, the terminal transmits the determined request data rate to a base station through an SCRM(Supplemental Channel Request Message)(S15).
