PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuation mechanism of simple constitution for conducting speed change control using synchromesh mechanisms only. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a first to a fifth speed gear trains GP1-GP5 disposed in parallel between an input and an output shafts, a first to a third synchromesh mechanisms SM12, SM35, and SM34 to select transmission of power by either of them, and a speed change actuator 30 to select for actuation of these. The speed change actuator is composed of a first to a third shift forks 31-33, and a shift transmission mechanism 40. The shift transmission mechanism 40 is composed of a first to a third shift rods 36, 37, and 38 on which the shift forks 31-33 are installed, shift pieces 61-67 installed on the shift rods, first and a second shift drive collars 51 and 56 to be selectively engaged with the shift pieces, a first and a second shift actuators 41 and 42 to drive the shift drive collars, and a selecting actuator 43 to select and change the shift pieces with which the shift drive collars are engaged.
