The subject of the present invention is a plant production contaiiner for guiding root development and ensuring efficient nutrient suppply, consisting of a bottom and containing wall that are flat when the container is faceted, or rounded when the container is conical. The invention is characterised by guiding inserts (3) disposed at the containing wall (2) such as interrupt the continuity of the same, but which form a single structural unit of continuous material transition with regard to said containing wall (2), arranged in at least one row and at least two columns or fixed so as to produce a diagonal pattern, possessing a vertical wall surface (31) and, at their lower end, insert floors (32), preferably shaped as prisms or half-cylinders and closed at the bottom by hemispherical, horizontal in the extreme case, but preferably tilted planar insert floors (32), and whose number and size vary depending on the size of the container; and by the property that the plant production container (1) is made of plastic, preferably by means of vacuum moulding. |
