<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing method which ensures high reproducibility of a dot image, effectively prevents toner deposition on a photoreceptor drum, effectively suppresses occurrence of image defects such as black spots or white spots and can give an image of high image quality, in an image forming system using an amorphous silicon photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: In the developing method in which an electrostatic latent image formed on an amorphous silicon photoreceptor is developed by reversal development to form a toner image, the development is carried out in such a way that the amount of development per unit area of the toner image is adjusted to a range of 0.6 mg/cm<SP>2</SP>≤A≤0.76 mg/cm<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
