<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic polycarbonate film of a low light-retardation value. <P>SOLUTION: By the method, (a) a molten extrudate (20) of a thermoplastic plycarbonate polymer is produced in an extruder (11) having a terminal die (17) and caused to flow into the die äherein, the temperature of the molten extrudate at the outlet of the terminal die (17) is 150°C to 400°C}, and next, (b) the molten extrudate (20) from the die (17) is passed through the gap between opposite turning rolls (23 and 26) äherein, the opposite turning rolls have a certain roll speed ratio and a nip (41), and the distance between the terminal die (17) and the nip (41) is a die-nip distance (47)}. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
