PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic electric compressor characterized by low noise and vibration. SOLUTION: The freezing equipment comprises a hermetic container 1 and a coil spring 101 elastically supporting an electric compressing element 2 arranged inside the hermetic container 1, and a resonant frequency characteristic of the coil spring 101 is made non-resonant with a resonant frequency of mechanical vibration generated by the electric compressing element 2 or an air column resonant frequency of a space 4 when the electric compressing element 2 is mounted on the coil spring 101. This can make the resonance of the coil spring 101 decrease and the noise or the vibration of the hermetic electric compressor decrease. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
