PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take proper actions for changes in diameters of cores in a core supporting device for supporting the cores by automatically inserting the cores with various diameters onto winder equipment and the winder equipment with this core supporting device. SOLUTION: A core supporting frame which can support the cores with various diameters is connected with a column frame vertically provided on a base so as to be moved in a vertical direction by an elevating device. An iron core is provided on either of the core supporting frame side or the column frame side, and the coil is provided on the other side. A differential transformer which is operated together is formed by the iron core and the coil, so that a relative position in the vertical direction on the core supporting frame side or the column frame side is promptly and properly detected as an output of the differential transformer, thus easily and accurately adjusting the position of the core supporting frame at the time of inserting the cores with various diameters.
