PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overflowing of grain culms from occurring though the overflowing occurs when vertical movement of a reaper for reaping the grain culms is regulated or the grain culms are fed from the reaper through an auxiliary transfer chain apparatus to a threshing feed chain of a thresher. SOLUTION: The control of the rotational speed of the auxiliary transfer chain apparatus 17 provided between a grain culm feeding and transferring apparatus of the reaper 4 for transferring the reaped grain culms and the threshing feed chain 6 of the thresher 5 for threshing the grain culms is performed as follows. The rotational speed is controlled to the same rotational speed as that of the threshing feed chain 6 or the reaper 4 with the controller using the traveling car speed of a traveling apparatus.
