WIRE HARNESS INSERTING METHOD INTO PROTECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily insert a wire harness into a protector having level difference.

SOLUTION: This is a method for inserting an electric wire into a recessed-sectional protector main body having the level difference in a longitudinal direction. The protector main body is mounted in the receiving tool erected from a bench for assembling the wire harness. A pressing tool is projected from the bench to each step part of the protector at the end part of the protector main body respectively. A pushing part formed in an upper part of the pressing tool is located in an opening upper part of the protector main body. When inserting an electric wire group constituting the wire harness within the protector main body, the electric wire group is controlled not to float from the inside of the protector main body by a pushing part of the pressing tool.
