PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of driving sources of a syringe pump, in regard to a sample analyzing device for analyzing sample such as blood and urine and a syringe pump to be used for the same. SOLUTION: This sample analyzing device is provided with a sample preparation unit for preparing an analysis sample by using a sample taken from a sample container, an analysis unit for analyzing the prepared analysis sample, and the syringe pump to be used for at least any one of preparation and analysis of the sample. The syringe pump unit is provided with a first syringe pump formed of a first piston and a first cylinder, a second syringe pump formed of a second piston and a second cylinder, a connecting member for connecting projecting ends of the first and the second pistons respectively projecting from the first and the second cylinders, and single driving source connected to the connecting member to reciprocate the first piston and the second piston together.
