<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system coping with lost children, whereby a guardian of an object person lost can be accurately made contact with. <P>SOLUTION: The telephone number of a portable telephone owned by somebody in a family is stored in a child's identification tag having RFID (radio frequency identification) built-in, and the object person such as a child is made to carry the child's identification tag. If the lost child owns the child's identification tag, the stored telephone number is read out by a RF reader by transmitting a question wave for reading to the child's identification tag, and the telephone number is telephoned to inform the family that the lost child is kept at a lost child keeping place. In this way, if information as to where to make contact when a child is lost is stored in the child's identification tag by encoding it, the family of the lost child can be speedily and accurately made contact with by reading out the stored information as to where to make contact and informing it, while preventing the information as to where to make contact from being inadvertently leaked, when the child is lost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
