<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic expansion life jacket which expands a floating buoyant body by immediately operating an automatic gas charger when a person wearing the life jacket drops in the water, and is free from the incorrect operation in regular on-board activity. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic expansion life jacket is provided with a ventilating sheet of 1 to 3 centimeters by 8 to 12 centimeters composed of fluid passing holes each of which has a diameter of 1 to 5 mm, and the total area of which is 6 to 30 cm<SP>2</SP>, on an inner air chamber cover at a lower part with respect to a water charging hole formed on the automatic gas charger communicated to the floating buoyant body accommodated in a bag-shaped front body composed of the inner air chamber cover and an outer air chamber cover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
