PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a lighting inspection device for a display panel improved in productivity by reducing the working time o be required to change the kind of the display panel. SOLUTION: This lighting inspection device for the display panel 10 formed by arranging a plurality of electrode terminal blocks having a plurality of extraction electrodes is provided with a panel loading lighting unit 11 formed by arranging a plurality of contacts, which have a plurality of tapping electrodes to be electrically brought into contact with the extraction electrodes of the display panel 10, corresponding to the electrode terminal blocks of the display panel 10 and provided with a second mark 17 for alignment, and an alignment camera 19 for recognizing position of the second mark 17 of the panel loading lighting unit 11.
