<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and precise calibration method usable for calibration of a measuring system, having a measuring device having a laser tracker and a photoelectric sensor, a system computer, and a measuring auxiliary device. <P>SOLUTION: The measuring system is composed of the laser tracker 2, the photoelectric sensor 3, the system computer, and the auxiliary device 4 having reflectors 5 and light points 6. The method of calibration comprises the measuring auxiliary device 4 being solidly connected with an auxiliary reflector array and moved around at least two different rotational axes relative to the measuring auxiliary 4; at each position of at least two rotational positions the reflectors 5 and the auxiliary reflectors 5' measurements are measured by the optical sensor 3 at the light points; from the measurement data of the optical sensor positions and directions of the light point array relative to the optical sensor 3 are calculated; thereby the reflector array or the at least two rotating axes relative to the light point array are calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
