PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development device which, while maintaining the present cost, makes it possible to recycle its materials by allowing the development device to be decomposed according to the materials. SOLUTION: The development device includes a development device main body 19 formed of frames 16, 17, and 18 connected to each other, and seal members 22 which seal the connected areas of the frames 16, 17, and 18. Elastomer is used as the sealing members 22, and the sealing members 22 are integrally molded with the frames 17. The sealing members 22 are made from fluorinated elastomer or foaming type elastomer.
