<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit which is manufactured, designed and verified with suppressed costs and time and is excellent in security and appropriately performs charging management as well. <P>SOLUTION: An LSI 10 is provided with a plurality of function realization parts 1 which realize different functions, respectively, an encryption ROM 2 which encrypts and registers an ID and a password of a user, a password management part 3 which collates the ID with the password, an FRAM 4 for encryption decoding data which decodes encryption decoding data inputted from the outside, a timer management part 5 which counts time, a clock switching control part 6 which selects whether or not a reference clock CLK is supplied to the function realization parts 1 and a mask data generation part 7 which generates mask data of the reference clock CLK and supplies it to the clock switching control part 6. The functions of the individual LSI 10 are optionally set and changed even when the LSI 10 itself is the same since the function realization part 1 is selected based on a verification result of the ID and the password, the contents of the ID and the password and a time counting result by the timer management part 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
