PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet device capable of always washing the private parts irrespective of sitting/standing by performing an invalid setting. SOLUTION: The toilet device includes a sitting detection means 56 for detecting the sitting of a user to a toilet seat 52, an invalid setting means 67 for voiding a function of the sitting detection means 56, a washing means 66 for washing the private parts of the human body and a control means 68 for controlling the washing means 66, the control means 66 controls the washing means 66 only when the sitting detection means 56 detects the sitting of the user in the case the function of the sitting detection means is valid, and the toilet device is so constituted that the washing means 66 is always controlled without depending on the sitting detection means 56 when the function of the sitting detection means 56 is invalid.
