PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable resin composition rapidly degradable when being degraded, and to provide a molded product thereof. SOLUTION: The biodegradable resin composition is obtained by dispersing 1-50 pts. by mass of a water-soluble resin in 100 pts. by mass of a biodegradable resin. The diameter of the water-soluble resin particle is 0.1-300μm, and the number of the particles is≥100 per 1 cm<SP>3</SP>of the composition. The biodegradable resin in the biodegradable resin composition is an aliphatic polyester and/or an aliphatic-aromatic polyester.
