PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot by which a person located at a distant place and a person located around a robot can exchange information via images. SOLUTION: The robot 1 comprises a transmitting and receiving apparatus 29 which can carry out the transmission and reception of information for a cellular phone 100, an imaging camera 6 for photographing surroundings, a projector apparatus 7 for projecting the image on an object to be projected located at the surrounding, and a CPU 11 for controlling the transmitting and receiving apparatus 29, the imaging camera 6, and the projector apparatus 7.
