DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM USING SUBCONJUNCTIVAL DEPOT

摘要

A drug delivery system for posterior segment of eyeball in which subconjunctival administration of a phamaceutical composition comprising a drug and a base is effected so as to attain formation of a depot using a base material and in which sustained release of the drug from the depot is carried out so as to realize maintaining of effective drug concentration. This phamaceutical composition comprises a base being in the form of a gel under the conjunctiva and a drug suspended in the base.
