<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allocate seats on the basis of various conditions specified by users. <P>SOLUTION: When a user inputs reservation application information by a ticket issuing terminal 4 or a PC 5 and transmits the information to a center system 1 through the Internet 6, the center system 1 divides users intending to take the same train into the prescribed number of groups and allocates a seat group consisting of a plurality of seats in a prescribed area to each group based on various kinds of conditions specified by the reservation application information. Then the center system 1 allocates a prescribed seat in the corresponding group to each user, stores seat information including user ID and the seat number as reservation information, transmits the reservation information to the ticket issue terminal 4 or the PC 5, and distributes the reservation information to a station management server 2. The station management server 2 distributes the reservation information to a ticket examination machine 3, which records the seat information corresponding to the user ID recorded in a magnetic ticket or an IC card owned by the user in the magnetic ticket or the IC card. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
