PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate cleaning work and decrease the frequency of the cleaning work by recovering the dust generated before rice polishing work. SOLUTION: A building 1 is divided into a guest room 2 and a machine room 3. The unpolished rice feeding port 7 of rice polishing facilities is arranged in the room 2 or 3. A stone removing unit 12 and a rice polishing unit 14 are arranged in the room 3. A unpolished rice flow route R is formed from the port 7 to a hulling chamber 39 of the unit 14 through the unit 12 by connecting them by supply pipes K1, K2, etc. The dust recovering apparatus of the rice polishing facilities is constituted so that a dust sucking port 46 is arranged on the route R, dust collecting units 15 and 51 are connected to the port 46 by dust recovering ducts 47 and suction units 42 and 50 are arranged in the middle of the duct 47 and 16 and/or in the unit 51. A rice bran collecting cyclone can be used as the dust collecting unit and a rice bran removing fan can be used as the suction unit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
