PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for keeping novelty in a rendition of game by defining a liquid crystal display panel arranged in front of a variable display means for variably displaying picture patterns as a new equipment configuration element for performing the rendition of game. SOLUTION: The rendition of game is displayed in each liquid crystal panel 39d which is arranged in a reel display window part 39 during the game of a slot machine. The liquid crystal panel 39d is defined as the new equipment configuration element for performing the rendition of game. Thus, the new rendition is enabled by the liquid crystal panel 39d, so that novelty is easily kept in the rendition. Since opening parts 5a, 6a, 7a, and 5b, 6b, 7b for observing symbols to be variably displayed in reels 2-4 are respectively formed in a diffusion sheet 39f and a light guide plate 39g, obstacles for disturbing the passage of light are reduced, which exist between a transparent acrylic board 39a and the reels 2-4 for variable display.
